Homosexuality is not natural. And biology matters.

There. I said it. There’s a reason most people are straight.

Homosexual/bisexual behavior has been observed in over 1,500 species.  [second source for that statistic]

Including: Penguins, Pelicans, Dolphins, Elephants, Giraffes, bison, lions, sheep, bonobos, hyenas and many, many more.

There’s more than 32,000 scholarly results on this topic.  It’s been studied pretty heavily.  Homosexual and bisexual behavior in animals is particularly common in herding/communal species (ya know, like HUMANS are)

But homophobia is only observed in one species. So, which one is REALLY unnatural?

Plus, it’s really important in nature, because homosexual couples will adopt abandoned baby animals, and take care of them, when their parents are busy reproducing again. Stop making stupid statements about something like this. It’s fucking 2015.

 Here’s one.

We’ve seen that behavior in penguins and flamingos in captivity.

This article talks about many theories about why homosexuality exists from an evolution standpoint, including this reason and others (for example- gay aunts and uncles would help raise nieces and nephews, that the genes that control homosexuality also have other beneficial results, and that bisexual behavior creates more bonds and cooperation in social groups)

And another This one even includes this quote: “the research suggests that having exclusively heterosexual thoughts is a disadvantage – it’s better to be a little bit attracted to the opposite sex.” Because of the benefits of bisexual behavior and social bonding.
