Man Imprisoned After Filming Eric Garner’s Death, Refusing to Eat, Rat Poison Found in Jail Food

22-year-old Ramsey Orta, the young man who filmed the NYPD killing Eric Garner, was arrested shortly after on trumped up charges. He has since been locked up at the notorious Rikers prison in New York.

It was reported by the New York Post last month that 19 different inmates were denied medical testing after bluish green pellets were found in their food. The prison admitted that these pellets were rat poison, but failed to give the inmates medical attention, and failed to offer any kind of explanation as to why the prison’s food was tainted with rat poison.

Orta was not the only person to be targeted for filming the Garner murder either, Taisha Allen, who also filmed the death of Eric Garner, is speaking out and saying that her involvement with the case has put a target on her back with the NYPD.

Now, we are witnesses of how a man who stood up for our rights, for our equality, a man who tries to prove that for every life deserves to be protected, under pressure of a police state tyranny. He used social media to achieve justice, we must continue his work.

2 police officers died on the job and your blogging about how you dont sympathise, that is beyond disrespectful to the men and women who risk their lives for us, especially when my dad is one of these people. Their occupation doesnt matter you have to respect the dead

nastynaf-blog answered:

lol first off, fuck you, your dad and the police :))))))) and now lets discuss how the police have respected those they have killed, shall we?

  • Lets talk about the cops who designed and sold the ‘Breathe easy, dont break the law’ shirts, shall we? Insidiously threatening those that break the law after the unjust decision not to indict Eric Garners killer. image
  • Lets talk about the Ferguson police officer who was called to Mike Browns memorial by a washington post reporter after a motorist had driven through it and he said: “I don’t know that a crime has occurred … But a pile of trash in the middle of the street? The Washington Post is making a call over this?’.
  • Lets talk about the NYPD officers who wore the extremely distasteful ’I can breathe’ tee shirts taunting us with how invincible they are after the refusal to indict Eric Garners killer.
  • Lets talk about the number of police officers who wore ‘I am Darren Wilson’ wristbands, identifying with a man who had just murdered a boy and publicly supporting him, I mean, thats so respectful, right? The same people who are supposed to protect us.image
  • Lets talk about the police officers who were caught laughing at and mocking protesters.
  • Lets talk about Antonio Martins mother who had to literally watch her son die alone on the floor and how indifferent and cold the police officers surrounding her were to this. image
  • Lets talk about the hell sent demon, Darren Wilson who profited off of Mike’s death and went on national TV to say he did not regret what he did.

If i was to recall every time the police disrespected us and the people they’ve killed and abused, we’d be here all day so fuck outta here with your bullshit and fuuuuuuck you again.

BOMBSHELL INTERVIEW: Eric Garner’s Death a Retaliatory Move by NYPD | The Free Thought Project

The Free Thought Project has been given exclusive information as to why Eric Garner may have been killed by the NYPD. This new information paints an entirely different picture as to why police were harassing Garner that fateful day back in July.

The information comes from an interview that took place last Thursday with Benjamin Carr. Benjamin Carr is Eric Garner’s stepfather, who was in the media recently peacefully resolving a situation with an angry protester.

The brief clip, obtained exclusively by the Free Thought Project, is part of a much larger collection of video which is going to be part of a documentary on police misconduct, which is why the videographer who gave it to us, has placed a watermark over it.

In the interview, Carr tells us that police didn’t show up that day because Garner broke up a fight or sold loosey cigarettes; they were there because police had a history of harassing Garner.

Carr explains that police had actually stolen money from Garner, who subsequently planned to file a complaint against the NYPD for this theft. Police were there that day, Carr says, not to shake Garner down for selling smokes, but to retaliate against him for trying to expose their theft.

Eric Garner’s Son Sits Down For CNN Interview, Opens Up About Father’s Controversial Death

Eric Garner’s 19-year-old son spoke out about his father’s untimely death during a rare appearance on CNN last night.

Eric Garner Jr. sat down with Erin Burnett Monday night, just days after watching the viral video of his father being choked to death by an NYPD officer.

Garner said that he’s proud of the peaceful protests happening in New York City and across the country in the wake of his father’s death.

“It makes me feel proud because I don’t have to share this moment by myself,” Garner said. “It’s amazing how everybody is doing this for my father. I appreciate it.”

Garner also opened up about how he and his friends have been racially profiled throughout the years while living in Staten Island.

“We could just be walking in a group, and cops will stop us because of our color,” he said.

Garner currently plays college basketball and said his father was looking forward to attending his games this season.

“He was a loving, caring father. He always supported his kids. He’s been in my life since I was a young kid. He supported my dream, and he was looking forward to watching me play college ball this year.”

23 times America failed black people in 2014

Without question, black people dominated news coverage this year, but often not for reasons many would celebrate.

As America witnessed the killings of unarmed black people by police, the reality of a broken justice system, the perpetuation of various anti-black stereotypes and racism rearing its head within many major institutions, the country had no choice but to face its racial demons head-on.

Here are but a few of the many moments when the country failed its black citizens in 2014.

a friendly reminder that not only was the REAL CRIMINAL the man who choked and killed an unarmed black civilian by the name of Eric Garner, was not indicted but the man who filmed it however, Ramsey Orta, was. why? because a police officer “claims” to have seen him pass a weapon to his friend days after the choking incident.

NO PROOF. NO WEAPON. STILL INDICTED
