I Married a Cop & I’m Afraid

i-still-cant-dance

No, before you get the wrong idea. I am not afraid of my husband. I am afraid of you.

You, who threaten all cops because of a few bad cops.

You, who threaten all cops families so “those useless pigs can know your pain.”

When my husband leaves in the morning I know there is a chance he won’t come home because he would give his life to protect the innocent. But now I have to worry he won’t come home because you let your hatred blind your judgement. To bring justice to Michael Brown. Eric Garner, and all of the other victims of police brutality, you are threatening innocent men and women who took an oath to protect your life with their own.

I know you are hurting, and I know there has been great injustice for the two men and their families. I know there are corrupt cops, but the reality is, most police officers are not the problem. It is a select few who are ruining the image of all.

Please, I am one woman asking you to stop threatening my family and my husband because of the actions of others. I want my son to grow up without the fear I have. I want him to be able to tell his friends his father is a police officer without having to be afraid of backlash.

I married a cop & I do not want to be afraid.

*sigh*

i married a black man and i’m afraid.. now don’t get me wrong, i’m not afraid of my husband. i’m afraid of cops because my husband is black.

cops, who because of institutionalized racism perpetuating the narrative of the inherent criminality of black skin

cops, who without knowing my husband judge him because he is a large, black man, who is perceived as a threat because he was born to look he way he does.

when my husband goes to work the swing shift, i know there is a chance that on his way home around 11 pm, he won’t come home because he could be shot during a “routine stop” or even if he calls the cops to his place of employment, because of the perception of black men in america.

his blackness is not a crime. his blackness, our blackness is beautiful. but you don’t see that.

you’re damn right we are hurting. we are hurting because Michael Brown was an unarmed black boy killed for being perceived as a threat. Eric Garner was choked to death ON camera. neither of their killers will face criminal prosecution. that there is a “blue wall of silence” that keeps so-called “good cops” from doing the right thing and confronting corruption and institutionalized racism.

i get to live with the painful knowledge that any sons AND daughters we are blessed with, will walk through life with that hanging over them. that those are painful lessons we will have to teach them, so we don’t have to go identify the bodies of our beautiful wanted loved children.

i am one woman, standing in representation of my fellow sisters, my mother, my aunts, my cousins, my friends and in solidarity women i do not even know, but share this fear or have seen this fear realized to say

disabuse yourself of these notions that WE are a threat to you

understand that your husband chose to be a cop. we did not choose to be black. we love our blackness, but we hate how it is perceived. it is literally proving fatal for us.

i married a black man, and i don’t want to see him dead.

i will bear black sons and daughters, and i don’t want to see them dead.

i am a black woman and i don’t want to die.

Your fear of your husband dying in a job that is dangerous by default, doesn’t outweigh the collective fear of an entire race of people at risk for being killed just for who we are.

He knew that was a possibility when he took the job!

Donald Andrews Jr. A Black man  and Business Owner from New York was cleared just last April After being Arrested on Drugs Charges in Scotia, New York.    Police were “suspicious” of Donald Andrews Jr.’s store, which sells incense and smoking paraphernalia, and sent undercover informants several times in March. In one of the informants visits he is seen on Andrews hidden camera planting Crack Cocaine on the counter in Andrews Store.

Andrews was arrested in April  2013 and cleared only after he asked a Grand Jury to watch the surveillance footage from his store. The informant used a cellphone photo he took of the planted drugs as evidence that Andrews was dealing, leading to his arrest.

*YES THIS IS FUCKING REAL LOOK IT UP*

The police claim that the informant has now “fled” and they haven’t found his whereabouts. The sheriff “claims” his investigators didn’t purposely framed Andrews and have the “informant” out to be some rogue agent.

FYI this same “informant” has lead to seven other drug-related arrests the Report says.

Sounds like a Movie right? But yall still out here calling people “conspiracy theorists”.

Andrews is now in the process of suing NYPD.

Michael Wood gave a no-holds barred look at his career in a previous radio interview, but his tweets gained traction for their brazen admissions that officers lied to get overtime, illegally searched “thousands of people” and committed gross acts during raids, like urinating and defecating on suspects’ beds.

A spokesman for the Baltimore Police Department confirmed that Wood left the force in 2014. In subsequent tweets, Wood promised to reveal more and expressed surprise at the attention paid to his commentary.

After Freddie Gray died in April from a spinal cord injury he sustained while in police custody, thousands in Baltimore protested against police brutality. Wood told theSecular News Network in May that the “BPD started the riots.”

In that interview, Wood, who is white, said that Gray’s death clearly showed that officers treat black and white people differently.

“The officers don’t see it as being so egregious, because people like Freddie Gray are so ingrained as ‘thems,’“ he said. Officers said they arrested Gray for carrying a switchblade, but the city’s chief prosecutor, Marilyn Mosby, ruled it was a legal knife.

“Even if the police feel as though they did nothing wrong. How many residents were arrested in the white neighborhoods with spring-assisted pocket knives?” Wood said to SNN. “I have a suspicion that the number is right around zero.”

Wood did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The police spokesman did not respond to questions about Wood’s allegations.

How police treat An unarmed 14YrOld girl vs. armed bikers whose actions led to 9 deaths.

Exactly the problem with Tumblr. One photo is DURING THE ACTUAL EVENT/Getting the situation under control while the other is a long time after when things have calmed down and no potential harm, further disturbance will happen. Sickening.

sniffing

what potential harm was there from a 14 year old you fucking moron shut the hell up

godpenis

“getting the situation under control”, what situation was there to control???????

biphobicerasurer

idk, godpenis why don’t you tell us? Since you seem to know oh-so-much about the situation.

(ps, a 14-year-old can do a lot of harm. There isn’t really an age limit on ability.)

godpenis

You’re kidding me right? You are gonna tell me that this skinny ass 14 year old girl in a fucking bikini was a threat to that grown ass adult cop.

ok but like when i say “i hate the military”, “the us military is a tool of imperialism” im not automatically condemning every soldier. what im saying is that we need to stop this creepy ass propaganda in america that every soldier is good. because like it or not the us military is a system that enforces violent imperialism and racism and even if you’re “a good person”, if you’re working in a bad system then your actions arnt necessarily heroic? the same goes for cops. instead of this unflinching support for institutions based in systemic inequality lets start critically analyzing them as people instead of forcing everyone to hero worship every god damn bigoted, murdering person that happens to be in the military.

South Florida Cop Pulls Lesbian Couple Over and Forces Woman to Strip While Rubbing His Penis

A South Florida cop is accused of pulling a lesbian couple over, taking one of them into custody and ordering her to undress as he rubbed his penis.

The incident took place Saturday after the Hialeah cop pulled the two women over without providing an explanation for the stop.

One of the women was then taken into custody for questioning.  They ended up inside an interrogation room in the police department while her partner remained outside in the parking lot.

The woman claims that the officer asked to see her from behind, and then demanded that she take off her shirt and her bra.  The woman asked why, telling him there was no reason for her to get undressed, and she says the officer said “Oh, I thought you wanted to fuck.”

“Honestly, I thought I was going to get raped,” the complainant told the news station. “I thought he would make me sleep with him.”

Eventually, after approximately 15 minutes, the woman was released from the police station with no charges and was reunited with her girlfriend.  They believe there may be other victims out there.

The Hialeah Police Department has not released his name.                /source/

That’s real shit! Sexual misconduct is the number two top complaint against law enforcement officers after brutality.
This cop is a real bastard, but the worst thing is that he acted like most cops, statistics shows it. It is the second most popular entertainment for them. Just imagine that one of your loved ones could get into a similar situation. I’m furious, I can not choose the words to describe how much I hate that motherfucker.

BOOOOST
Don’t let them hush up.
