So many poc youth get told to “live a little ” and not be “so political” but it isn’t politics to us, its literally whether or not we are worthy of the title “human” to society. So next time a black, lantinx, Palestinian, first Nation (etc) gets “too political” for you remember that feeling you have is proof of your privilege because while someone out of the group I talk to roll their eyes while I talk about Palestine, back home my uncle had to find his grandson lynched in broad daylight.
I, and every other poc aren’t too political, if we are maybe you’re just too heartless.
